Alice in Translationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04702699628604634560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4976244413954679800.post-25498769451571619082012-06-07T19:50:55.907+03:002012-06-07T19:50:55.907+03:00Armenians are like Hebrews. They had since always big problems in their own fatherlands and, thus, you find them everywhere in the world (for instance, the most important jewelry shop in Piazza San Marco, the main square in Venice, is an Armenian).Pille Ploomipuuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15231322849964696127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4976244413954679800.post-20056400433875348322012-06-07T00:08:59.052+03:002012-06-07T00:08:59.052+03:00Love the street maps! The latter finally captured the city in 1704 (I wonder what they were doing that far south). Also new to me is the presence of Armenians, there still is an Armenian cathedral in Lviv (what were they doing so far north). Gio. It is good that someone saves Soviet memories for the future.
I feel that the differences between eastern and western Ukraine run in parallel with the differences between southern and northern Italy. And we have the opposite - to preserve the Soviet attributes as a historical and tourist importance.
